BANGKOK, June 24 (Reuters) - The Thai baht has stabilised and returned to normal after it 'overshot' early this week because of market expectations of a rapid appreciation in the Chinese yuan, Bank of Thailand Governor Tarisa Watanagase told reporters on Thursday.
The governor said she expected core inflation to remain within the central bank's 0.5-3.0 percent target range this year and said economic growth may ease in the second half, weighed down by a slump in the tourist sector after recent political turmoil.
