WASHINGTON (dpa-AFX) - German discount supermarket chain Aldi plans to bring its award-winning wine rosé that costs only $8 to the shores of the United States.
Exquisite Collection Côtes de Provence Rosé from 2016 was named the best value rosé for the International Wine Challenge's Great Value Awards two years in a row.
Although, Aldi stores in the U.S. sell a different Côtes de Provence Rosé, that one did not win the award. The award-winning rosé is made by Julian Faulkner or Jules wines and until recently the wine was only available in the U.K. The wine will go on sale on September 20.
