COLUMBIA, Md. (AFX) - Specialty chemicals maker W.R. Grace & Co. on Friday said it bought privately held Basell USA's custom catalyst manufacturing assets and its components business, expanding Grace's supply business to polymer plastics makers.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
The Basell catalyst unit, which makes products used in resins that form industrial plastics, is based in Edison, N.J.
Grace plans to integrate the Basell assets into its Grace Davison division, which recently added Single-Site Catalysts LLC to its lineup of businesses.
