Learn Where the Money is that could help you Grow Your Business
The U.S. Small Business Administration’s Illinois District Office (SBA) will host a one day Economic Recovery Forum in Springfield at the Crowne Plaza Hotel on Tuesday, September 29, 2009. The Forum, featuring government agencies and prominent corporations from the private sector, is designed to educate small businesses on the importance of federal, state, local and private sector contracting opportunities to grow their businesses in this turbulent economy.
“We encourage small businesses from all over the State of Illinois to join us at this very important forum. The SBA and its partners will illuminate specific strategies for doing business in today’s economy. Government agencies at the local, state and federal levels, along with various Fortune 500 companies, will outline their plans for Recovery Act spending, which provide contracting opportunities for Illinois small businesses,” said Judith A. Roussel, Illinois District Director.
“The Economic Recovery Forum will be an important meeting ground for businesses looking to access information, access opportunities, and access relationships needed to sustain and grow their business. The resources provided by SBA are essential to reenergizing the small business community. The revitalization of small businesses will be critical to America's recovery from the current economic crisis,” added Ms. Roussel.
