BRUSSELS (dpa-AFX) - The National Association of Home Builders' housing market index for August is scheduled for release at 10:00 am ET Friday. Ahead of the data, the greenback traded mixed against its major counterparts. While the greenback rose against the franc and the euro, it held steady against the pound and the yen.
The greenback was worth 1.1114 against the euro, 1.2123 against the pound, 106.21 against the yen and 0.9768 against the franc at 9:50 am ET.
