Aeluma, Inc. Completes Facility Preparation and Key Equipment Installation

GOLETA, CA / ACCESSWIRE / August 11, 2022 / Aeluma, Inc. (the "Company"), a semiconductor company specializing in scalable, cost-effective sensor technologies for advanced LiDAR solutions, announced today that initial facility preparation at its headquarters in Goleta, CA is complete, and key equipment has been installed and qualified.

Commenting on the announcement, Aeluma CEO and founder, Jonathan Klamkin, PhD, stated, "The Aeluma team has worked diligently to plan and prepare our cleanroom facility for equipment installation and operation. This milestone will enable us to optimize our semiconductor wafers for performance and scalability, and establish sensor prototypes."

With its proprietary technology that combines high performance compound semiconductor nanomaterials with mass market silicon manufacturing, Aeluma is developing optoelectronic devices for sensors and communications. A primary company focus is infrared sensors for the automotive, industrial, and transportation sectors.
