WASHINGTON (dpa-AFX) - Apollo Global Management Inc. (APO), an alternative asset manager and retirement services provider, on Wednesday announced that its managed funds have acquired Gatehouse Living Group from Gatehouse Bank for an undisclosed terms.
Gatehouse Living Group is a UK-based residential investment and management platform comprising Gatehouse Investment Management and property management arm Ascend Properties.
The company manages more than 10,000 homes nationwide and has acquired over 5,000 homes from major UK housebuilders.
The transaction supports Apollo's expansion in the UK housing sector, building on its existing investments in residential platforms.
Gatehouse Living Group will continue to be led by Chief Executive Officer Paul Stockwell and its current management team, with plans to rebrand the business at a later stage.
In the pre-market trading, Apollo Global Management is 1.06% higher at $112.60 on the New York Stock Exchange.
