WASHINGTON (dpa-AFX) - Zillow Group, Inc. (ZG) on Wednesday reported higher revenue in the second quarter and first half of 2026, although it slipped to a quarterly loss while remaining profitable for the six-month period.
For the second quarter, revenue increased 18 percent to $772 million from $655 million a year earlier. Net loss was $4 million, compared with net income of $2 million in the prior-year quarter. Loss per share was $0.02, compared with earnings per share of $0.01 a year earlier. Adjusted EBITDA rose to $176 million from $155 million.
For the first half of 2026, revenue increased 18 percent to $1.48 billion from $1.25 billion in the same period last year. Net income increased to $42 million from $10 million a year earlier. Earnings per share improved to $0.18 from $0.04, while adjusted EBITDA rose to $374 million from $308 million.
ZG is currently trading at $33.25, down $3.64 or 9.87 percent on the Nasdaq.
