The government of the Philippines is preparing a new procurement exercise under its flagship green energy auction (GEA) program that will specifically target agrisolar and projects integrated with aquaculture, referred to by the government as aquasolar. The country's Department of Energy (DOE) and Department of Agriculture have reviewed a draft memorandum of understanding for the auction, which is scheduled to be the 9th (GEA-9) under the program.
