Hinen Officially Launches A15 Residential Energy Storage System in the UK, Strengthening Local Installer Ecosystem

BIRMINGHAM, England, Aug. 21, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Hinen has officially launched its A15 Residential Energy Storage System in the UK, introducing a scalable, installer-friendly solution designed to help homeowners maximise solar energy, manage growing energy demands and achieve greater energy independence.

The A15 launch took place during a live online event attended by Hinen's technical team, UK distributors and installers, industry representatives and homeowners. The event featured product demonstrations, live installation discussions, insights from Hinen's experience in Australia and perspectives from UK market partners.

Designed for Smarter, More Flexible Home Energy

The A15 combines Hinen's A-series hybrid inverters with B15 high-voltage battery, providing a comprehensive energy storage solution for modern UK homes.

Key features:

  • 14.4 kWh capacity per B15 battery module, with 13.68 kWh usable capacity and support for up to six batteries in parallel, enabling systems to scale to 86.4 kWh.
  • Simplified installation, with no external Battery Management System (BMS) required, reducing wiring complexity and helping installers complete projects more efficiently.
  • Ultra-slim 180 mm design and a compact 0.13 m² footprint, providing greater flexibility for garages, utility rooms and other space-constrained installations.
  • Long-term performance, with more than 8,000 cycles and a 12-year battery warranty, supporting homeowners' long-term energy storage needs.
  • Intelligent energy management through the Hinen App, enabling real-time monitoring and OTA firmware updates.

The A15 supports applications including solar self-consumption, EV charging, heat pumps, and home backup, with expandable storage to meet evolving household energy needs.

Building a Strong UK Energy Storage Ecosystem

A key highlight of the A15 launch was a live discussion bringing together perspectives from across the UK residential energy storage ecosystem.

Isaac, Technical Manager at Hinen Australia, shared insights from Hinen's experience in the Australian market. UK distributors Taj, Founder and CEO of Power Warehouse; Colin, Head of Sales at BHC Distributors Ltd; and Adam, Group CEO & Co-Founder of HDM Solar, discussed market opportunities and the importance of strong manufacturer-distributor partnerships.

Installer Matthew, Founder of Lumos Energy Ltd, shared practical perspectives on installation and homeowner needs, while Jason, CEO of the Energy Storage Association (UK), provided broader insights into the UK energy storage market.

Adding the customer perspective, Greg, Managing Director of Man with a Hammer Ltd, shared his experience with the system.

Together, the speakers highlighted a central message of the launch: advancing residential energy storage requires more than innovative technology-it requires collaboration across manufacturers, distributors, installers, industry organisations and homeowners.

"The UK is an important market for Hinen. The A15 launch marks more than a new product-it strengthens our commitment to local partnerships and the support network needed to help installers and homeowners adopt energy storage with confidence."
- Dustin, General Manager of Sales for the UK, Hinen

First 300 Installer Offer

To support the initial rollout, Hinen is introducing a First 300 Installer Offer for the first 300 A15 units. The initiative is designed for installers and installation partners, with further details available through Hinen's UK distribution and installer network.

Achtung, Korrektur!
