Episurf Medical AB (publ) (Nasdaq: EPIS B) today publishes its interim report for January-June 2026. Rental income increased by 257 per cent to SEK 17.5 (4.9) mn. At the end of the period, the property portfolio comprised 39 (1) properties with a lettable area of 61,456 (4,529) square metres and a market value of SEK 946 (108) mn.
The period in brief
- Rental income amounted to SEK 17.5 (4.9) mn for the half-year and SEK 12.3 (2.4) mn for the second quarter.
- Operating profit amounted to SEK 13.1 (3.7) mn for the half-year.
- Profit after tax for the period amounted to SEK -234 (3) mn, mainly as a result of the impairment of goodwill of SEK -162.4 mn and the change in value of properties of SEK -20.1 mn.
- Goodwill of SEK 226.2 mn arose on the acquisition from Mofast, mainly as a result of the recognition of deferred tax and the increase in the share price between the signing date and the acquisition date. The item has been written down by SEK 162.4 mn in connection with the acquisition, with no cash flow effect.
On the acquisition date, 18 May 2026, the class B share was quoted at SEK 0.14, while the consideration shares were issued at a subscription price of SEK 0.045. The difference of SEK 0.095 per share, multiplied by the 1,711,111,111 class B shares issued, corresponds to approximately SEK 162.6 mn. As the investment properties are measured at fair value, this amount could not be attributed to any identifiable net assets and has therefore been written down in full.
- Lettable area 61,456 (4,529) sqm, rental value SEK 92.1 (-) mn and contracted annual rent SEK 86.0 (-) mn, corresponding to an economic occupancy rate of 93.4 per cent.
- Forward-looking yield 6.6 (6.8) per cent.
- The net loan-to-value ratio amounted to 27 (57) per cent at the end of the period.
- Property investments amounted to SEK 969 (-) mn, of which SEK 963 (-) mn related to acquisitions of properties.
