Two years at 5,200 meters: POWEROAD BESS proven in extreme altitude

At 5,200 meters above sea level, reliable electricity is critical - and difficult to guarantee. In 2024, POWEROAD commissioned a 50 kW / 559.1 kWh backup power system at the North Everest Base Camp in Tibet, built around three FLEX 215 outdoor battery cabinets, to support scientific research in one of the world's most demanding environments.
