Vancouver, British Columbia--(Newsfile Corp. - August 24, 2026) - The Organization of American and Canadian Women in Public Relations (Women in PR North America) is pleased to announce that tickets are now on sale for the Women in PR North America Awards Launch Reception, taking place Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at the Rosewood Hotel Georgia Hawksworth Restaurant in Vancouver.
Sponsored by Notified, the inaugural networking reception will officially kick off the new Women in PR North America Awards, a program created to recognize excellence, leadership, innovation, and impact across the communications industry.
The evening will bring together professionals working across public relations, investor relations, communications, marketing, media, and business for an elegant evening of networking, celebration, and meaningful industry connections.

A New Awards Program for the Communications Industry
Award categories and full nomination details will be announced online this fall, providing professionals across North America with the opportunity to participate in the new program.
Those interested in applying, or nominating an outstanding professional from their network, are invited to join the Women in PR North America Awards waitlist to be notified when nominations officially open and receive details about award categories.
Award recipients will be showcased online through Women in PR North America and celebrated in-person as part of the 2027 WorkWell Conference and Awards, taking place May 6, 2027, at St. Lawrence Market Hall in Toronto.
The year-round approach reflects Women in PR North America's mission to create greater visibility for industry leaders and provide platforms where their ideas, expertise, and accomplishments can be shared.
Vancouver Awards Launch Reception
The October 7, 2026 event in Vancouver will mark the official kickoff of the awards program and offer guests an opportunity to learn more about the initiative while connecting with professionals from across the communications and business community.

Speaker Applications Open for WorkWell 2027
Women in PR North America is inviting industry leaders, executives, entrepreneurs, educators, and subject-matter experts to apply for upcoming speaking opportunities.
Opportunities include speaking at the 2027 WorkWell Conference and Awards in Toronto as well as participating in virtual speaking opportunities through the WorkWell Experience, providing experts with additional ways to share their knowledge and increase their visibility throughout the year.
