CHICAGO (dpa-AFX) - Aerospace and defense major Boeing Co. (BA) announced that it has been awarded, by the US Air Force, a $131.23 billion indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for the F-15 Eagle Crest in support of the F-15 Program Office.
The contract covers F-15 aircraft production, modernization, upgrades, sustainment, and depot maintenance for the Air Force, Air National Guard, and other Department of War customers.
Work will be performed in St. Louis, Missouri, through August 2037. The ordering period is expected to end on August 24, 2031, with an option to extend through August 24, 2036.
The contract includes Foreign Military Sales to Japan, Israel, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Singapore, Indonesia, and Poland. The contract was awarded on a sole-source basis, with $0.34 million in 2026 research, development, test and evaluation funds obligated at award.
The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, is the contracting activity.
On the NYSE in the overnight activity, the shares were trading 0.25 percent higher at $211.99, after closing Monday's trading 1.75 percent down.
