Fortitude Gold Corp.: Fortitude Gold Drills 1.52 Meters Grading 13.20 g/t Gold Within 28.96 Meters Grading 2.07 g/t Gold at East Camp Douglas

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO / ACCESS Newswire / September 15, 2026 / Fortitude Gold Corp. (OTCQB:FTCO) (the "Company") announced multiple wide and high-grade gold drill intercepts from its East Camp Douglas property, located in Mineral County, Nevada. Intercepts from the Roosevelt target include 1.52 meters grading 13.20 grams per tonne (g/t) gold within 28.96 meters grading 2.07 g/t gold, 4.57 meters grading 4.79 g/t gold within 18.29 meters grading 1.48 g/t gold, and 1.52 meters grading 5.94 g/t gold within 12.19 meters grading 2.00 g/t gold. Fortitude Gold is a gold producer, developer, and explorer with operations in Nevada, U.S.A. offering investors exposure to both gold production and dividend yield.

East Camp Douglas Roosevelt drill highlights include (m=meters, g/t=grams per tonne) (full drill table below):

Hole# ECDRC-267:

  • 18.29 m of 1.48 g/t gold including
    • 4.57 m of 4.79 g/t gold

Hole# ECDRC-313:

  • 12.19 m of 2.00 g/t gold including
    • 1.52 m of 5.94 g/t gold

Hole# ECDRC-371:

  • 28.96 m of 2.07 g/t gold including
    • 1.52 m of 13.20 g/t gold &
    • 1.52 m of 5.86 g/t gold

Drill results from the Roosevelt target are located approximately 400 meters north of the White Rock West target on the northern end of the district. Extensive high-grade gold across substantial widths in multiple holes were intercepted. The Roosevelt target is of high exploration interest, as it bridges mineralization between the target areas of Triumph and White Rock West. The Company currently has three exploration drills operating at East Camp Douglas.

"Our exploration efforts continue to build towards a targeted initial resource in the East Camp Douglas property's northern area," stated Mr. Allan Turner, Vice President of Exploration for Fortitude Gold. "It is exciting to see the northern expansion potential beyond our White Rock targets in the district. I am optimistic that we will receive the Plan of Operation for Exploration in the fourth quarter of 2026, which would allow us additional drill pad disturbance to further delineate the gold-bearing structural corridor in this highly prospective area."

"Allan and his exploration team continue to do an exceptional job intercepting high grade gold, of which many intercepts are impressive widths from the limited areas we have permission to drill," stated Fortitude Gold's CEO and President, Mr. Jason Reid. "We are very excited to obtain the Plan of Operations for Exploration at East Camp. Once regulatory restrictions are lifted, we plan to aggressively drill to expand known areas of gold mineralization as well as drill additional highly prospective areas, all with the goal to expedite deposit discoveries."
