Lendistry Completes Acquisition of Windsor Life Insurance Company

The deal extends the lender's mission-driven platform into life insurance, building its ecosystem of small business empowerment

LOS ANGELES, CA / ACCESS Newswire / September 24, 2026 / Lendistry today announced it has completed its acquisition of Windsor Life Insurance Company ("Windsor Life"). Financial and transaction terms were not disclosed. The acquisition marks Lendistry's entry into life insurance carrier ownership and represents the next step in a deliberate, multi-year strategy to build a full-spectrum financial services platform for the small business owners and underserved communities the company was founded to serve.

"Small business owners have always had to piece together their financing, their insurance, and their resources, often at a real cost in time and money," said Everett K. Sands, CEO of Lendistry. "Bringing a licensed life insurance carrier into the Lendistry platform shrinks that gap in a durable way. This is a long-term commitment, and we intend to build it thoughtfully, in close partnership with the policyholders Windsor already serves."

Windsor Life joins Lendistry a year after the September 2025 launch of Lendistry Insurance Fulfillment Team, LLC ("LIFT"), an agency that connects small businesses with business and life insurance coverage. Where LIFT built the distribution relationships, the acquisition will add a licensed, regulated insurance platform alongside the company's established lending and asset management businesses - a step that broadens its long-term growth story for current and future investment partners.

Following its acquisition, Windsor Life will continue to serve its existing policyholders while Lendistry works to grow the company's role within Lendistry's broader financial services platform.
