Results of Operations

Net income increased by $777 thousand, or 30.8%, to $3.3 million for the three-month period ended September 30, 2026 from $2.5 million for the three months ended September 30, 2025 driven by higher net interest income. Net income increased by $2.8 million, or 28.7%, to $12.6 million during the year ended September 30, 2026 compared with $9.8 million for the year ended September 30, 2025 from higher net interest income, partially offset by higher provisions for credit loss, lower other income, higher other expenses and higher income tax expense.

The increase is attributable to a 37 basis points increase in the Company's net interest margin to 3.84% for the three months ended September 30, 2026 from 3.47% for the three months ended September 30, 2025 as well as a $44.4 million increase in net interest-earning assets between the periods.
