MILAN (AFX) - IFIL SpA said its third quarter net profit fell to 81.5 mln eur from 291.7 mln a year earlier due to a drop in the profits of its affiliate Fiat SpA.
Fiat's third quarter net profit fell to 195 mln from 818 mln a year earlier, which benefited from non-recurrent capital gains.
IFIL said it expects its full year net profits to be lower than in 2005, which was bloated by capital gains booked by IFIL and Fiat. philip.webster@afxnews.com pw/cml COPYRIGHT Copyright AFX News Limited 2006.
