FRANKFURT (AFX) - SAP AG said sales of its retail software products to businesses in the Asia-Pacific region have more than tripled in the last two years, as it continues to expand its lead over its rivals in the growth region.
Both SAP and rival Oracle Corp are competing for this niche in the business software applications market.
In March, Oracle outbid SAP with with a 670 mln usd offer for US retail software Retek Inc.
