FRANKFURT (AFX) - Emirates Airlines chief executive Tim Clark told Welt am Sonntag he expects the delivery of the European Aeronautic Defence and Space Co (EADS)'s Airbus A380 to be delayed further.
'Airbus is still telling us that April 2007 is the delivery date,' Clark told the newspaper.
'But I can put my hand on my heart and say that April or May is more likely. Perhaps.'
Airbus originally wanted to deliver the planes about six months earlier.
Clark also said Emirates Airlines will begin flights from Hamburg to New York this autumn as it continues to expand in Europe. alfred.kueppers@afxnews.com amk/cml COPYRIGHT Copyright AFX News Limited 2005.
