LAZARD LTD
The New York-based investment bank said Pierre Cailleteau will join the firm's Sovereign Advisory Group, effective Sept. 6, and will be based in Paris.
Cailleteau joins the firm from Moody's Investor Services where he was Global Head of Sovereign Ratings.
DEUTSCHE BANK
The global investment bank said Andrew Jarman has joined the bank as a senior high yield credit trader, based in London. Jarman joins from Morgan Stanley.
Askin Aziz has also joined the bank as a senior high yield credit analyst, based in London. Most recently Aziz was a senior credit analyst at James Caird Asset Management.
Both Aziz and Jarman will report to Antoine Cornut, European Head of Credit Trading.
LLOYDS TSB CORPORATE MARKETS
The financial services firm appointed Christoffer Mollenbach as head of financial institutions debt capital markets. Mollenbach joins from RBS.
ABN AMRO PRIVATE BANKING
The company appointed David Chan as head of investment advisory based in Singapore. Prior to joining, Chan was with Standard Chartered Bank.
SKANDINAVISKA ENSKILDA BANKEN AB
The Nordic financial services group appointed Carsten Heinild to co-head SEB Enskilda Corporate Finance in Denmark, effective the first quarter of 2011. Heinild currently heads Royal Bank of Scotland's Danish operations.
BNP PARIBAS
The bank appointed Nick Darrant as emerging market syndicate manager based in London. Darrant had joined the bank in July. Previously, he was head of the emerging market bond syndicate at Credit Agricole in London.
FIRST STATE INVESTMENTS
The firm named three new appointments to its infrastructure investments team, which manages the European Diversified Infrastructure Fund. Inderdip Syan joins as portfolio director from Rutley Partners. Gregor Kurth joins as senior executive from DI Deutsche Infrastruktur. Raphael Viallet joins as senior executive from 3i Infrastructure .
NORTHERN TRUST CORP
Northern Trust said it has created new positions in its Global Fund Services (GFS) business. Paul Fahey joins as director of Global Product Management and Development; Marc Mallett as Global Head of Client Conversions, Investment Operations Outsourcing; Fiona Horsewill as Global Head of PMO/ Architecture Strategy for GFS; Mark Herraman, Head of Investment Operations Outsourcing Client Service, EMEA region.
