PEKING (dpa-AFX) - Hong Kong is on Thursday scheduled to release November figures for imports, exports and trade balance, highlighting a modest day for Asia-Pacific economic activity.
In October, imports were at 339.70 billion Hong Kong dollars, while exports came in at 297.03 HKD for a trade deficit of 42.67 billion HKD.
Japan will see November results for vehicle production, construction orders and housing starts. In October, vehicle production dropped 12.4 percent on year and construction orders dipped an annual 13.8 percent. Housing starts are expected to rise 10.7 percent on year to $0.911 million after surging an annual 25.2 percent to $0.978 million in October.
China will release November figures for industrial profits; in October, profits were up 0.5 percent on year.
