Small Business Administration announces the opening of a Disaster Loan Outreach Center (DLOC) in Far Rockaway, NY, Queens County on Monday, Feb. 4. The Center provides one-on-one assistance to homeowners, renters and business of all sizes seeking disaster assistance for losses caused by Hurricane Sandy. Also, beginning Feb. 4 the hours for all SBA Disaster Loan Outreach and Business Recovery Centers will be Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. until further notice.

If online or mobile access is unavailable, applicants should call the FEMA toll-free Helpline at 800-621-3362. Those who use 711-Relay or Video Relay Services should call 800-621-3362. The filing deadline to return applications for physical property damage is now February 27, 2013. The deadline to return economic injury applications is July 31, 2013.
