WASHINGTON (dpa-AFX) - Public Storage (PSA) released earnings for its third quarter that gained ground from last year.
The company said its bottom line advanced to $394.26 million, or $2.26 per share. This was up from $360.25 million, or $2.08 per share, in last year's third quarter.
Analysts had expected the company to earn $2.27 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
The company said revenue for the quarter rose 6.7% to $511.84 million. This was up from $479.89 million last year.
