BRUSSELS (dpa-AFX) - As expected, the European Central Bank kept the main refi rate at a record low of zero percent and the deposit rate at -0.40 percent.
Following the decision, the euro rose slightly against its major counterparts.
The euro was trading at 124.54 against the yen, 1.1294 against the franc, 0.8711 against the pound and 1.1350 against the greenback around 7:47 am ET.
