BRUSSELS (dpa-AFX) - The U.S. new home sales for February and University of Michigan's consumer sentiment index for March have been released at 10:00 am ET Friday. Following these data, the greenback advanced against its major counterparts.
The greenback was trading at 110.81 against the yen, 0.9953 against the franc, 1.1228 against the euro and 1.3072 against the pound around 10:02 am ET.
