BRUSSELS (dpa-AFX) - The University of Michigan's preliminary consumer sentiment index for April is scheduled for release at 10:00 am ET Friday. Ahead of the data, the greenback traded mixed against its major counterparts. While the greenback held steady against the yen, it dropped against the rest of major counterparts.
The greenback was worth 111.96 against the yen, 1.1312 against the euro, 1.3111 against the pound and 1.0006 against the franc as of 9:55 am ET.
