BRUSSELS (dpa-AFX) - After the release of U.S. jobs data for April at 8:30 am ET Friday, the greenback rose against its major counterparts.
The greenback was trading at 111.64 against the yen, 1.0211 against the franc, 1.2997 against the pound and 1.1144 against the euro around 8:31 am ET.
