BRUSSELS (dpa-AFX) - At 4.30 am ET Tuesday, the UK Office for National Statistics releases unemployment data. The ILO jobless rate is seen at 3.9 percent in three months to March.
Ahead of the data, the pound dropped against its major counterparts.
The pound was worth 141.84 against the yen, 1.3031 against the franc, 0.8686 against the euro and 1.2938 against the greenback as of 4:25 am ET.
