BRUSSELS (dpa-AFX) - At 4.00 am ET Friday, IHS Markit is slated to release PMI survey results for euro area. The composite PMI is forecast to rise to 52.0 in June from 51.8 in May.
Ahead of the data, the euro gained against its major rivals.
The euro was worth 1.1310 against the greenback, 121.57 against the yen, 1.11255 against the franc and 0.8906 against the pound as of 3:55 am ET.
