CANBERA (dpa-AFX) - Canada housing starts for October are due at 8:15 am ET Friday. Ahead of the data, the loonie traded mixed against its major counterparts. While the loonie retreated against the yen, it held steady against the rest of major counterparts.
The loonie was worth 1.3200 against the greenback, 1.4563 against the euro, 0.9059 against the aussie and 82.84 against the yen at 8:10 am ET.
