BRUSSELS (dpa-AFX) - The U.S. weekly jobless claims for the week ended April 11, building permits and housing starts for March will be published at 8:30 am ET Thursday. The greenback traded mixed against its major counterparts before these data. While it fell against the yen, it held steady against the rest of major counterparts.
The greenback was worth 1.0888 against the euro, 1.2496 against the pound, 0.9657 against the franc and 107.52 against the yen at 8:25 am ET.
