BRUSSELS (dpa-AFX) - At 2.00 am ET Tuesday, German final consumer price data is due. According to preliminary estimate, consumer prices decreased 0.2 percent on year in September after staying flat in August.
The euro held steady against its major counterparts ahead of the data.
The euro was worth 124.36 against the yen, 1.1800 against the greenback, 1.0731 against the franc and 0.9043 against the pound at 1:55 am ET.
