BRUSSELS (dpa-AFX) - The Bank of England publishes mortgage approvals data for February at 4.30 am ET Monday. The number of mortgages approved in February is seen at 95,000 versus 99,000 in January.
Ahead of the data, the pound rose against its major counterparts.
The pound was worth 151.31 against the yen, 1.2964 against the franc, 0.8518 against the euro and 1.3821 against the greenback as of 4:25 am ET.
