CANBERA (dpa-AFX) - Canada building permits for April are due at 8:30 am ET Wednesday. The loonie traded mixed against its major counterparts ahead of the data. While the loonie fell against the greenback, it held steady against the rest of major rivals.
The loonie was worth 1.4709 against the euro, 90.92 against the yen, 0.9337 against the aussie and 1.2069 against the greenback as of 8:25 am ET.
