BRUSSELS (dpa-AFX) - At 4.30 am ET Wednesday, UK IHS Markit/CIPS composite Purchasing Managers' survey results are due. The flash index is expected to fall marginally to 62.8 in June from 62.9 in May.
Ahead of the data, the pound rose against its major rivals.
The pound was worth 154.99 against the yen, 1.3979 against the greenback, 0.8544 against the euro and 1.2826 against the franc as of 4:25 am ET.
