BRUSSELS (dpa-AFX) - U.S. jobs data for June and trade data for May are due at 8:30 am ET Friday. Ahead of the data, the greenback traded mixed against its major counterparts. While it rose against the euro and the pound, it dropped against the yen and the franc.
The greenback was worth 111.45 against the yen, 1.1823 against the euro, 1.3750 against the pound and 0.9257 against the franc as of 8:25 am ET.
