HEERLEN, Netherlands, Sept. 1, 2022 /PRNewswire/ -- Royal DSM, a global purpose-led science-based company, today announces the completion of the sale of its Protective Materials business to Avient Corporation for an Enterprise Value of €1.45 billion. The agreement was initially announced on 20 April 2022.
The transaction covers all of DSM's Protective Materials activities, chiefly consisting of Dyneema. DSM anticipates a book profit of around €1 billion. DSM will receive approximately €1.35 billion net in cash.
