Intea Fastigheter AB (publ) and the Nordic Investment Bank, NIB, have signed a 14-year loan of SEK 1 billion for the new justice centre in Kristianstad.
Between 2018 and 2024, Intea developed a new justice center in Kristianstad, bringing together several key government agencies under one roof. The tenants are the Swedish Police Authority, the Swedish Prison and Probation Service, and the Swedish Prosecution Authority, occupying a total area of approximately 37,000 sqm. The tenants moved into the premises during the second half of 2024.
"Intea is a long-standing client of NIB. The facility combines productivity and sustainability, with both buildings targeting a sustainability certification of BREAAM Excellent", says André Küüsvek, President and CEO at NIB.
"Through a 14-year green loan, we are securing long-standing favourable terms for a strategic investment with a clear sustainability profile. Kristianstad is the fourth project we are financing in this way, and we value the strong collaboration with NIB", says Magnus Ekström, CFO at Intea.
