NORFOLK (dpa-AFX) - Norfolk Southern Corp (NSC) revealed a profit for second quarter that Drops, from last year
The company's earnings came in at $734 million, or $3.26 per share. This compares with $768 million, or $3.41 per share, last year.
Excluding items, Norfolk Southern Corp reported adjusted earnings of $793 million or $3.52 per share for the period.
The company's revenue for the period rose 11.4% to $3.465 billion from $3.110 billion last year.
