TOKYO (dpa-AFX) - Honda Motor Company Limited (HMC, 7267.T) on Wednesday revised up its annual guidance for the full year.
For the 12-month period to March 31, 2027, the automaker now projects net profit of JPY 400 billion against the earlier expectation of JPY 260 billion. Earnings per share are now anticipated to be 102.75, compared with the prior outlook of JPY 66.79 per share.
Honda Motor now expects sales revenue of JPY 24.150 trillion, higher than the prior guidance of JPY 23.150 trillion.
For the 12-month period to March 31, 2026, the automobile company had posted net loss of JPY 423.941 billion, or JPY 106.06 per share, on sales revenue of JPY 21.796 trillion.
For the full year, the company still intends to pay a total dividend of JPY 70 per share, compared with JPY 70 per share in the previous year.
