BRUSSELS (dpa-AFX) - Scout24 SE (SCOTF), a Germany-based operator of digital real estate marketplaces, on Thursday reported significantly higher second-quarter profit, driven by strong revenue growth across its Professional and Private segments.
Net income increased to €63.2 million, or €0.90 per basic share, from €39.0 million, or €0.54 per basic share, a year earlier.
Excluding one-time items, adjusted income rose 14.1% to €71.4 million from €62.6 million, while adjusted basic earnings per share increased to €1.02 from €0.87.
Ordinary operating EBITDA rose 14.1% to €116.0 million from €101.7 million.
Group EBITDA climbed 36.7% to €101 million from €73.9 million a year ago.
Revenue increased 20% year-on-year to €192.7 million from €160.6 million.
The Professional segment generated revenue of €144 million, up 24.5% year-on-year, and the Private segment posted revenue of €48.7 million, up 8.4% from a year earlier.
Looking ahead, the company confirmed its full-year outlook.
On XETRA, Scout24 shares closed 0.26% higher at €76.40 on Wednesday.
