BRUSSELS/FRANKFURT/PARIS (dpa-AFX) - Power Assets Holdings (0006.HK) reported profit attributable to equity shareholders of HK$14.7 billion for the six months ended June 30, 2026, compared with HK$3.04 billion in the corresponding period a year ago. This increase resulted from the divestment of Power Assets' interests in UK Power Networks and UK Rails. Earnings per share rose to HK$6.90 from HK$1.43 a year ago. The company said an exceptionally strong financial performance was generated by the United Kingdom portfolio during the period. Revenue was HK$298 million during the first half of 2026, down from HK$352 million in the prior-year period.
The Board of Directors has declared an interim dividend of HK$0.78 per share, payable on 22 September 2026 to shareholders whose names appear on the company's Register of Members on 10 September 2026.
Power Assets Holdings shares closed trading at HK$57.30 on Hong Kong Stock Exchange, down 0.35%.
