Globant Appoints Fernando Matzkin as Chief Operating Officer to Help Accelerate its AI-Native Transformation

  • Fernando Matzkin, most recently Globant's Chief Revenue Officer, has been with the company for 17 years, previously leading its growth across the US and Europe.

BUENOS AIRES, Argentina, Aug. 24, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Globant (NYSE: GLOB), a global company focused on driving enterprise reinvention through AI, announced the appointment of Fernando Matzkin as Chief Operating Officer. In his new role, Matzkin will help accelerate the company's Vision 2030 and strengthen Globant's position for the future as it evolves its offerings and operations for the AI-native services era, with Glob.AI and AI Pods at the center of it.

Fernando has spent 17 years at Globant and most recently served as Chief Revenue Officer. Throughout his tenure, he has been key in driving the company's expansion, including serving as Chief Business Officer for the United States and Europe.

As Chief Operating Officer, he will be responsible for evolving the company's operational model, translating its strategy into execution, and raising the bar for client delivery and customer success. He will also drive commercial performance across key markets within Globant's industry-led model. At the heart of his mandate will be accelerating Globant's AI transformation leveraging its AI Pods and Glob.AI.
