WASHINGTON (dpa-AFX) - Rivian Automotive, Inc. (RIVN), an automotive technology company, Thursday announced that its Chief Financial Officer, Claire McDonough is stepping down, effective October 30, to pursue a new opportunity and relocate to the East Coast to be closer to her family.
In the interim, Derek Mulvey, Vice President of Finance, is expected to be appointed as the Chief Financial Officer, effective upon McDonough's departure.
Mulvey had joined the company in 2021 and has worked closely with McDonough and the CEO RJ Scaringe. Prior to Rivian, he was Vice President at J. P. Morgan.
On Thursday, shares closed at $16.80, up 2.88% on the Nasdaq.
