SAN JOSE (dpa-AFX) - Adobe (ADBE) on Thursday said Anil Chakravarthy will become its president and chief executive officer effective December 1, 2026, succeeding Shantanu Narayen, who will transition to executive chair. Chakravarthy will also join Adobe's Board of Directors.
Chakravarthy currently serves as president of Adobe's Customer Experience Orchestration business and worldwide field operations. He joined Adobe in 2020 and has held leadership roles across its Digital Experience business and enterprise operations.
Under his leadership, Adobe said it expanded its Customer Experience Orchestration business and developed products including Adobe CX Enterprise, GenStudio and Brand Visibility, while scaling Adobe Experience Platform and introducing innovations such as CX Enterprise Coworker. He also championed the acquisitions and integration of Workfront and Semrush.
Before joining Adobe, Chakravarthy served as CEO of Informatica for four years and previously held executive positions at Informatica, Symantec and VeriSign, as well as McKinsey & Company.
