HERZOGENAURACH (dpa-AFX) - Interparfums, Inc. (IPAR), a French perfume company, said that it has signed an exclusive, worldwide license agreement with sports company PUMA SE (PUM.DE) for the creation, development, production, and distribution of fragrances developed under the PUMA brand name.
Interparfums said that it plans to introduce this new signature lifestyle fragrance in 2027 under a license agreement that runs through December 31, 2037.
Commenting on the developments, Nina Jacobsen, Director, Licensed Business, PUMA, said, 'We are delighted for PUMA to join the Interparfums brand portfolio. On the NASDAQ Exchange, IPAR ended Tuesday's trading at $118.29, up $5.53 or 4.90 percent.
On the XETRA Exchange, PUM.DE ended Tuesday's trading at 22.75 euros, up 0.44 euros or 1.9 percent.
