SEOUL (dpa-AFX) - HD Hyundai Heavy Industries Co., Ltd. (329180.KS), a shipbuilding company and a major heavy equipment manufacturer, on Wednesday reported a decline in the net income despite higher sales and operating income in the third quarter of 2026 compared with the previous year.
For the third quarter, net income declined 19.4 percent to KRW 348.3 billion from KRW 432.1 billion in the previous year.
Operating income jumped to KRW 891.7 billion from KRW 560.1 billion in the prior year.
Sales increased to KRW 5.7325 trillion from KRW 4.4181 trillion in the previous year.
HD Hyundai Heavy Industries is 1.55% lesser at KRW 286,750 on the Korean Stock Exchange.
