OTTAWA (dpa-AFX) - Element Fleet Management Corp. (EFN.TO) on Tuesday, reported higher net income for the third quarter of 2026 compared with the same period a year earlier, supported by growth in revenue and operating income.
Net income attributable to common shareholders increased to $127.3 million from $125.2 million. Earnings per share rose to $0.33 from $0.31. Net revenue increased to $320.7 million from $306.3 million, while operating income climbed to $178.6 million from $167.4 million.
Adjusted operating income rose to $182.0 million from $177.6 million, while adjusted earnings per share increased to $0.35 from $0.33. Adjusted operating margin was 56.8 percent, compared with 58.0 percent a year earlier.
For the first nine months of 2026, net income attributable to common shareholders increased to $356.8 million from $339.8 million. Adjusted net income rose to $408.8 million from $367.4 million, while adjusted earnings per share increased to $1.04 from $0.91.
EFN.TO closed Tuesday, trading at C$22.42 up C$0.30 or 1.36 percent on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
