WASHINGTON (dpa-AFX) - Cloudflare Inc. (NET) on Thursday reported a wider second-quarter loss, while revenue grew 36 percent from last year on continued growth in paying customers, large customers and developers on its platform.
Net loss widened to $170.0 million or $0.48 per share from $50.4 million or $0.15 per share in the prior-year quarter.
Excluding stock-based compensation, amortization, restructuring and other one-time items, adjusted earnings were $0.29 per share, compared with $0.21 per share a year ago.
Quarterly revenue increased to $696.1 million from $512.3 million last year. Gross margin declined to 71.8 percent from 74.9 percent.
For the third quarter, Cloudflare expects revenue of $736 million to $737 million and adjusted earnings of $0.34 per share.
For fiscal 2026, the company now projects revenue of $2.864 billion to $2.870 billion and adjusted earnings of $1.25 to $1.26 per share.
